Make a difference. Every day.
The Strategy and Development Unit is part of the Group Office and is located in Lund, Malmö, and Kristianstad. We are about twenty employees working with document, information, and case management, identity and access management, and information accessibility. In the unit, we strive to make document, information, and case management smarter and more efficient for all our employees and citizens within Region Skåne. This is done, among other things, through the implementation of DokIT, the common platform for document and case management, in Region Skåne. The DokIT group is a team of specialists who develop processes and solutions in the area.
Strategy and Development belongs to the Information Area, which has a group-wide coordination responsibility, is the executive archive authority under the Regional Board, and employs over 140 staff. The operations encompass both strategic, tactical, and operational functions in Region Skåne's central information supply.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work in a team of about ten people, where a major focus right now is to implement the DokIT platform. The implementation is carried out within the framework of a program led by a program manager, and it is within this that your main work will take place. We strive for an agile working method, engagement, openness, and user focus, and work closely with our IT organization and our suppliers.
As a business architect, you will take leadership and provide support in all matters concerning architecture from the business perspective by clarifying change needs, mapping problems, and developing solutions based on business needs. You will support and be responsible for the entire implementation phase and develop, describe, and manage the organization's business architecture.
This means ensuring that the business processes, information flow, and system support are interconnected and support the organization's goals and strategies. Furthermore, you will ensure that the established strategies, goals, and their expected effects are clear. To clarify these connections, you will deliver documentation and visualizations in the form of stakeholder models, business model descriptions, capability maps, and process models. You will also design regulations for how functions in the system support should be configured.
In your assignment, you will act as a bridge between business and IT and lead the work to ensure that digital solutions meet the requirements of the businesses. In collaboration, you will also lead working meetings and build partnerships with both our own operations and other stakeholders in the form of IT, legal, and information security to produce documentation and decision support.
Since we are a small team, you need to be flexible and not shy away from also leading projects, business development, testing, and requirements analysis.
The main placement is in Malmö or Lund.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered, you have a post-secondary education in computer science, management, business development, or another area that the employer deems equivalent. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement. You have several years of work experience in a relevant field for the position, such as architecture, business analysis, process modeling, and requirements management. In addition, you have good knowledge of architecture methods and frameworks and have previous experience working with business needs and change work. We also see that you have experience with agile working methods and working with external suppliers of IT products and services. You have good knowledge of IT capabilities, information models, and the current IT landscape, its complexity, and the opportunities and limitations this creates in different scenarios.
We consider it meritorious if you have experience and/or knowledge in:
- Working with document and case management, preferably with OpenText products.
- TOGAF or equivalent frameworks.
- Leadership in relevant areas.
- Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Working in public organizations and understanding politically governed organizations.

As a person, we are looking for someone who thrives in collaboration with others and is skilled at creating and maintaining relationships, both within and outside the organization. Furthermore, you are a skilled communicator and can pedagogically convey and adapt your message to different levels and audiences so that you engage your listeners. For you, it is natural to work independently by taking responsibility for your work and prioritizing and structuring your tasks according to the needs of the organization. You are solution-oriented and see new opportunities for improvements in your daily work. We support each other in our work when needs arise and expect you to be a team player who can both give and receive constructive feedback. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Before employment becomes relevant, a practical work test will be conducted.
Warm welcome with your application!
